Proper use instructions:
1. Be sure you have your pet under control before attempting to attach the retractable leash.
2. Fasten the leash hook onto the metal loop of your pets collar.
3. When leash is at a desired length, push the large top black button in with your thumb. This will cause the leash to lock. To release, press the large black button down.
To temporarily hold your pet at a certain length, hold down the large black button with your thumb. Once released the leash will then begin to retract.
